Ordered direct Β· no platform commission
A busy restaurant runs on four order channels β dine-in, takeaway, your own online ordering and the delivery aggregators β and most systems only handle one or two well. Everything else gets punched in twice, or lands on a pad the kitchen has to decipher. This system puts all four on one screen, bills them under one GST-compliant invoice series, and deducts the stock as the food goes out.
Sound familiar?
What we hear before we start
If two or more of these are true, there's a conversation worth having.
Aggregator orders get punched in twice
An order lands on a tablet from one platform, another on a second tablet, and someone re-types both into the billing machine. At peak, that is where mistakes and missed orders come from.
Commission is the cost of every order you did not own
Aggregators reach people who have never heard of you, and that is worth paying for. Paying it again on the regular who orders every Friday is not β but without a direct channel there is no alternative to offer them.
Billing and the kitchen are separate steps
The bill gets made at the counter, the KOT gets written by hand, and the two disagree often enough that someone is always walking to the kitchen to check.
The menu is out of date the moment it is published
Prices change, dishes sell out, and a PDF menu cannot say so. Guests order what you cannot make.
Nothing talks to anything else
Orders live in one place, bookings in another, stock in a spreadsheet. Nobody can answer a simple question about last week without three exports.
What's included
12 modules, switched on as you need them
Take the whole system or start with the part that hurts most. Adding a module later is a normal piece of work, not a new project.
Billing & KOT
Take the order, print the KOT and print the bill in a few taps. GST, taxes and discounts calculated on the invoice, with a compliant invoice series behind them.
Captain ordering app
Staff take orders at the table on an Android phone β items, modifiers and KOT straight to the kitchen, without walking to the counter.
Aggregator order sync
Orders from the delivery platforms you already work with arrive in the same queue as your own, so nothing is re-typed into the billing machine at peak.
Online ordering
Pickup and delivery ordering on your own domain, with UPI and card payments. No per-order commission on the customers you brought yourself.
Menu management
Modifiers, combos, allergens and day-parts. Mark an item unavailable and it disappears everywhere in seconds.
Table ordering & QR
Guests scan at the table, order and pay from their phone. Fewer trips to the till, faster turnaround.
Reservations & waitlist
Table plans, covers, deposits for large parties, and a waitlist that texts the next guest when a table frees up.
Kitchen display & tokens
Every order reaches the kitchen the same way β a printed ticket or a screen β with prep timings, course grouping and token numbers for counter pickup.
Inventory & recipe costing
Track stock against what you actually sell, cost your recipes, and see margin per dish rather than per invoice.
Staff rotas & hours
Build the rota, publish it to phones, handle swaps, and export hours for payroll without retyping anything.
Customers & loyalty
Order history, repeat-order in two taps, and a loyalty scheme that lives on the customer's phone rather than in their wallet.
Reporting & GST returns
Sales by daypart, dish and channel in a dashboard an owner can read in a minute, plus the tax summaries your accountant asks for at the end of the month.

Questions
About the restaurants system
Anything not covered here, ask us β weβd rather answer it before you commit.
Do we have to stop using the delivery aggregators?
No, and most restaurants shouldn't. Aggregators are good at reaching people who have never heard of you, and their orders come into the same queue as everything else. What the system adds is a direct channel for your regulars, so you are not paying commission twice on the customer who already knows you.
Will it work with our POS?
It depends on the POS. Systems with a documented API can usually be integrated; some older or closed systems have no way in at all. We check yours during the scoping call and tell you honestly, rather than finding out halfway through.
Can staff edit the menu themselves?
Yes. Prices, descriptions, photos and availability are all editable by your team, with permissions so a server can mark an item as sold out without being able to change prices.
What happens if the internet drops during service?
This is the question worth asking of any system. We discuss your specific setup during scoping β including offline behaviour for ordering and printing, and what the fallback is β so there are no surprises on a Friday night.
